Leaving Richmond
Bye House-Hello NY
Well, we finally made it. After not having a husband or father for my kids for 3 months we finally made it and are all together again (thank god)! It was an interesting experience all in all but we know this is the best for us and our future.
The move went great- from packing to unpacking all went smoothly and not even a LIGHT BULB broke! Thank you to both of our families for all of their help! The Durkin's had the kids for 5 days while we unpacked. We finished everything from getting all the pics up to breaking down every last box! By Sunday when the kids arrived everything was done and they felt right at home. They were so excited about their new toy room and being in New York.
I have been venturing out everyday and found the local Stop and Shop, Costco, Target, Nail place (hehe), etc... We live in a nice neighborhood very close to the University and our neighbors already seem great! There are a lot of little kids around here so that has been nice to see.
From the pics you can see the Ice Cream man found us too!
Next week we will be looking for a pre-school for Ryan and lots of parks and play areas.

Ok V, that post made me tear up! I miss you already knowing you aren't in richmond!! but, you are still close to dc...AND I hope to see you soon. :)
